The 14-day trial and what happens after
Every Mermix workspace starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card, no commitment, and we never auto-charge you — you're only billed if and when you actively choose a plan.
When the clock starts
Your 14 days begin on your first Jira sync, not at sign-up. Setting up your Atlassian account, inviting teammates, and getting your projects ready don't burn trial days — the clock only starts once you pull real work into Mermix and there's something to evaluate.
(If you sign up but never sync, the trial expires 14 days after sign-up so workspaces don't linger forever.)
What's included in the trial
The trial gives you the full Starter experience:
- Up to 25 resources (the people you schedule)
- Unlimited portfolios, planners, and projects
- The AI Copilot (Claude Haiku) with 300 credits per month
- All reports — capacity, schedule health, profitability, and data quality
- Free, unlimited Board (read-only) logins, and a free Engineer login for every scheduled person
You're testing the real product with your real Jira data — nothing is crippled or watermarked.
Two days before it ends
On day 12 we email you a reminder so the end never comes as a surprise. There's nothing you have to do — if you're not ready, your data waits for you (see below).
Choosing a plan
When you're ready, pick a plan from My Account → Shop:

Resources are the only thing that changes between plans — portfolios, planners, and projects are unlimited on every one. Annual billing saves 20%. More than 400 resources, or need a PO, SLA, or specific data-residency terms? Talk to us about a Custom plan.
Cancel anytime. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, you're never charged again, and there's no partial refund for the current period — simple and predictable.

If the trial ends before you decide
Nothing is deleted the moment your trial ends. Your workspace pauses, but your data is kept for 30 days. Subscribe any time in that window and you pick up exactly where you left off — same plan, same tasks, nothing to redo.
Only after 30 days with no subscription is the workspace and its data removed. We'll email you before that happens.
