The calendar
The Team Calendar holds the plan: one row per person, and a bar for each piece of their work, coloured by project. What you change here stays in Mermix until you push it to Jira. Each bar takes its project's colour, as the legend shows. The legend's other marks are thin stripes above a person's bars: time off, pending leave, public holidays, and work in another portfolio. A red edge on a bar marks a day when that person has more work than hours.
What you see
Switch between days and weeks; the calendar remembers your choice. Filter by project: the other projects' work fades, so you still see who is busy. Or choose which people to show, with a search for larger teams.
Working with bars
Drag a bar to move it. Drag its edge to make it longer or shorter. Drop it on someone else's row to give them the work. Click a bar to select it; click it again to open its details. Change its dates, planned effort and progress; the key, summary and logged time come from Jira. Its Dependencies tab lists what it waits for, and what waits for it. With a bar selected, the arrow keys move it a day at a time. Delete takes it off the calendar and back to the backlog. Changed your mind? Command Z or Control Z undoes it, step by step. Press the question mark for every shortcut.
The backlog
On the right, the backlog: work with no dates or no one yet, grouped by project, and larger projects by epic. Search by words or by issue key. Sort by priority, key, assignee or sprint. Drag a card onto a person's row to schedule it. Or select several cards and schedule them on one person: each goes where they first have free time, counting their other work and their leave.
Pull from Jira
Pull brings in what changed in Jira: choose the projects, and fetch. Before anything changes, each issue says where it will go, and why. With no assignee, or nothing to place it by, an issue waits in the backlog. Import, and a summary counts where everything landed, and explains every rule.
Push to Jira
When the plan is right, press Push; it counts the changes waiting. The drawer lists every change, from what Jira has to what you planned. Push sends them, and the toolbar shows when you last pushed.
Export
Export shares the plan: who is doing what, week by week, as PDF or Excel, or a picture of the calendar, for the period you choose. That's the Team Calendar: your plan, person by person, in step with Jira.
